Questions

How long will the EcoFlow RIVER 3 run a refrigerator?
It may not: a typical fridge compressor needs about 1,200 W for a moment to start, above this model's 600 W surge rating. Newer, smaller fridges may start fine.
Can the EcoFlow RIVER 3 run a microwave?
Not a full-size one. A typical 1,000 W microwave pulls about 1,500 W from the outlet, more than its 300 W continuous output. Its X-Boost mode is meant for simple heating devices, and microwaves may not work properly with it.
How long does the EcoFlow RIVER 3 take to charge?
EcoFlow's published charging claim: “0–100% in ~60 min (AC)”. Max AC charging power is 320 W. With solar, it accepts up to 110 W. With 110 W of panels that's roughly 3 hours of good sun from empty.
Is the EcoFlow RIVER 3 expandable?
No. Its capacity is fixed at 245 Wh.
Does the EcoFlow RIVER 3 work as a UPS?
EcoFlow lists a 20 ms switchover time, so it can keep devices like routers and computers running when the power drops. Check that your specific device tolerates the switch before relying on it for anything critical.
